Private Wellness Retreat — V SPA -Băneasa Forest
A contemporary sanctuary for a vibrant family
Located in the northern part of Bucharest, near the edge of Băneasa Forest, this 400 sqm wellness and leisure space was designed for a family with three energetic children. Spread across the ground floor and basement of a 2300 sqm property, the project transforms part of the residence into a year-round private spa.
The design includes a swimming pool with counter-current system, jacuzzi zone, sauna, salt room, fitness area, emotional shower, and visual connection to the garden and tennis court. A curved glass skylight above the pool brings in natural zenithal light—allowing swimmers to gaze at the sky.
All systems are integrated into a smart home setup, with underfloor heating, climate control, and LED lighting optimized for energy efficiency. Finishes include phosphorescent mosaic tiles by Ezarri and onyx-effect ceramics that add elegance and glow.
The living area features a warm wood-accented wall, open kitchen, wine zone, and a cozy lounge. Natural materials, filomuro doors, and a “back to nature” concept define the atmosphere—encouraging a healthy lifestyle centered around movement and connection.
This project was a technical and creative challenge, beautifully embraced by open-minded clients who followed every step with enthusiasm. Today, the spa is the heart of the home—a place for joy, relaxation, and togetherness.
